SAVE THE TASMANIAN DEVIL
Be an ANGEL, Save a DEVIL!
TASMANIA- Australia, but its NOT!
When people think of Tasmania, they think its another country in the world. Certainly not part of Australia!
If you are planning to go to Australia and don't take a visit to Tasmania, you are missing a great place to experience.
Tasmania has it all from rainforests with Huon Pine trees thousands of years old to beaches up in the Freycinet area to mountains such as those around World Heritage Park, Cradle Mountain.
There are lakes, rivers, and unbelievable scenery.
You want history? How about penal colonies from hundreds of years ago with many of the original buildings still intact!
How about a harbor in Hobart with exciting shops and historic buildings and wonderful seafood!
Each of the Travel Experts listed on this website has been to Tasmania and can arrange your own personal trip. They can assist you with everything from booking hotels; booking river cruises; booking those special "b+b" homes; or booking your car rentals.
What is the best way to see Tasmania?
We suggest no less than 4-days, but can easily be done for 7-10 days. You can drive it yourself on easy to route two lane roads or you can take scheduled tours or a combination of both. Ask your Aussie Specialist what they recommend!
What are the "Must Do's" in Tasmania?
There are so many, but three come to mind and we will let your Aussie Specialist tell you what they are. How do they know? They have experienced them first hand! Call them today!
Will I actually see Tasmanian Devils?
Your Devil Specialists will make sure you do! There are many great wildlife preserves and parks in Tasmania including:
Trowunna Wildlife Park
Devils at Cradle Mountain Preserve
Tasmanian Devil Park
There are other places to visit and the travel experts can tell you about them.
You CAN touch devils in person. And, sometimes, you can actually touch and hold a baby depending on the season.
BUT REMEMBER- devils are wild animals and not domesticated! DO NOT try to touch one on your own or ever try to catch one. They can be dangerous and fierce. If you desire to get up close to a "devil", ALWAYS do it at one of the preserves and parks listed above, and ONLY with one of the park rangers or guides! DEVILS ARE NOT PETS!
TASMANIA has the purest air in the world as documented by the scientific community.
It ALSO has some of the best seafood; best wines; and best cheeses. It is a smorgasbord of gourmet treats with honey and jam farms and lavender farms and fruits and so much more.
Your bags coming home from Tasmania will be full of epicurean delights! Do share these goodies with your friends and family!
So when should I see Tasmania? Ask your Aussie Specialist who will tell you the best time of the year as well as the best days! Why days? They know the secret, ask them.
